2005 NSLS Users' Meeting

Our theme this year is:

"The NSLS: Where Science Shines"

We suggest you book early! Peter Stephens, our meeting chair, has quite a few surprises in store for all! 

The cocktail hour will be held between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. in the Berkner Hall lobby.

The banquet will be held between 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. in the Berkner Hall cafeteria, with music by piano-violin duet Silken Rags The guest speaker is Robert P. Crease, BNL's Historian and a professor of philosophy at SUNY Stony Brook. Dr. Crease published "Making Physics: A Biography of Brookhaven National Laboratory, 1946 to 1972," and provides history on the Birth of BNL.

Dr. Crease is now working on Volume 2 of his History of Brookhaven, and will be speaking on "The Making of the NSLS."

General admission tickets are $40. Student and Post Doc tickets are only $20. Be sure to include your reservation to the Banquet on your online registration form.
